Production Workshop Manager (m/f/d)

As a Workshop Manager (m/f/d), you’ll take responsibility for our manufacturing operations, ensure smooth processes, and actively help shape the future of our production. If you have strong organizational skills, technical expertise, and a hands-on approach, we look forward to getting to know you.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the timely planning, management, and monitoring of production processes
  • Efficient workforce scheduling and resource management within the workshop
  • Determining demand, as well as planning and ordering inventory and consumables in close collaboration with the Logistics and Purchasing departments
  • Procurement of project-specific components
  • Monitoring and optimizing production processes, as well as continuously improving them
  • Conducting capacity planning to ensure optimal utilization of personnel, machinery, and equipment
  • Reviewing and approving bills of materials to ensure error-free production preparation
  • Continuously coordinating with related departments to ensure on-time order fulfillment

 

This position is designed as a team role: Together with an experienced colleague, you will be responsible for planning and managing the mechanical and electrical assembly of our industrial conveyor systems and will play a key role in the success of our projects.

Thanks to our high level of vertical integration—from material procurement through manufacturing to final assembly—we lay the foundation for efficient project execution and innovative product development. In this role, you’ll work alongside a dedicated team from various departments to oversee the entire development process of our systems.

What you should bring:

  • Completed vocational training in the industrial sector
  • Master craftsman or technician certification
  • Professional experience in production planning, work preparation, or assembly coordination, ideally in mechanical and plant engineering
  • Proficiency in working with technical drawings, bills of materials, and ERP systems
  • Strong organizational skills and a structured, independent work style
  • Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills, and a sense of responsibility
  • Initial experience in managing and scheduling employees
  • A hands-on approach, as well as a strong focus on quality and cost efficiency
